Ivy Building History
After meeting with the Seward Neighborhood Group we found out about a resident, Dick Westby, who was doing historical research on the history of six buildings in the Seward Neighborhood. Inspired by his research, we found images from the history of the Ivy Building, formerly Flour City, a block square foundry that made ornamental metal castings but is now artists spaces.

The resulting images were collected into a slide show that we presented on the ivy covered surface of the building. This was an experiment using historical documentation to present the story of the building.

Oldest Tree in Minneapolis
The oldest tree in Minneapolis stands proud overlooking the Mississippi in the Seward Neighborhood. N.A.W projected an image of a troll trough the hollow trunk of the tree illuminating an often over looked
historical treasure.
