Casual Outing
We were invited by the Lyndale Neighborhood and Sarah Scott to project as part of a neighborhood celebration. We utilized two tools, the Photo Booth and Andrea's Real Time Drawing. The question we posed for the Photo Booth was, "Where do you call home?", hoping to address residents lack of opportunity to know about each other.
Slide Show on September 5! ¡Exposición de diapositivas! El viernes, el 5 de Septiembre
Based on our initial experience we felt that we should try to expand beyond the real time aspects of the first outing and give residents a different forum for participating along with trying to reach deeper into the population. Sarah Scott suggested that we attend the Harvest Festival, a community event put on by Rina Rossi and Youth Farm Market(Youth Farm, "nurtures relationships between urban youth and their families, their communities, and the earth around them by growing, cooking, eating and selling healthy food"). On August 13 we set up a photo booth and asked attendees to have their picture taken and to answer our question about home. Postcards were also distributed at that event to invite residents to the slide show.
